This policy explains what personal data we collect through grabaprompt.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to visitors in the EU/UK (GDPR / UK GDPR) and to everyone else who uses the site.

What we collect and why
Newsletter signup. When you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter. We use it to send you the welcome email with your prompt-library download, and occasional emails with updates and writing tips. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the signup form.
Analytics. We use Umami to understand how the site is used. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect information that identifies you personally.
Who processes your data
Your email address is stored and sent on our behalf by MailerLite, our email service provider, acting as our data processor. MailerLite processes your data under its own terms and data-processing agreement. See the MailerLite Privacy Policy for details.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active subscriber list, retaining information only as necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
Your rights
Under the GDPR / UK GDPR (Articles 15–21) you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to our processing of your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, email max@icanwrite.app. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in the footer of every email we send — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Germany, your local data protection authority; in the UK, the ICO).
Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics are cookieless, and the site does not set cookies for marketing purposes.
Children
This site is not directed at children. In line with GDPR, we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without parental consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above.
